Due to rapid growth we are expanding our software development team and looking for a motivated individual application developer to be responsible for the successful delivery of software (code) within development projects, within a highly efficient, technically strong development team. If you are a Developer who feels underutilized and not challenged, then this could be the right opportunity for you!
Required Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of development experience with hands on Oracle PL/SQL
• 2-4 years of programming in a common language such as Java, C++ or PHP
• 2 years of experience in creating reports using Crystal reports, Jasper or similar reporting software.
• Solid proven hands-on development experience in writing complex stored procedures and SQL tuning.
• Solid relational database experience with good command of SQL, PL/SQL and JDBC with Oracle databases.
• Working knowledge of Unix OS with ability to create batch and Cron jobs
Required Soft Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Ability to work at client sites as part of a larger team
• Strong analytical, team player, and a good problem-solver.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• A self-starter, not going to wait to be told what to do and takes it upon themselves to up skill
• Having a fun, fierce, collaborative attitude!
Responsibilities:
• Primarily responsible for hands-on SQL/PLSQL debugging and Developing enterprise web applications
• Define and create data model, tables, views, marts, queries etc. to support business requirements.
• Design, develop, debug, test and promote code into various environments from DEV through to PROD.
• Building highly reliable systems that can handle high volumes of transactions.
• Develop and contribute to Business Requirements Document along with users.
• Perform unit, integration and System testing of new application.
• Strong involvement with technical design reviews and peer coding review sessions
