One of our prestigious Clients’ who is a leading Multinational IT company based in Colombo is looking for an experienced “Software Architect” to join their team immediately.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand the company needs to define system specifications.
Plan and design the structure of a technology solution.
Communicate system requirements to software development teams.
Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
Oversee assigned programs and provide guidance to team members.
Conduct code reviews and help inculcate best practices and coding methodologies.
Assist with solving technical problems when they arise.
Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure.
Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions.
Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.
Continuously suggesting and ensuring new technologies are inculcated in ongoing development.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
Degree in a computer technology-related discipline from a reputed institution is preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience working in the software development industry in a similar leadership role.
Knowledge of selected coding languages. (.NET, C#, Angular, REST services)
Expertise in project management and service-oriented architecture. (SOA)
Understanding of strategic IT solutions.
In-depth knowledge about quality standards, legislation, and best practices.
Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MS SQL)
Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. Microsoft Azure)
Ability to build a good rapport with clients, managers, and colleagues.
Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain key concepts to managerial and technical resources.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
