Our client is a leading International software services provider located in Colombo looking for suitable candidates for following positions:
Senior Engineer – Windows
Skills Required
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Exposure in agile methodologies
• Sensible and responsible decision maker
• A passion for customer service and good interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or any other equivalent qualification
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate – (MCSA) – Server Infrastructure
• ITIL — Foundation
• AWS certification would be an added qualification
Experience:
• 3-6 years of experience in ;
o Designing, building and administrating complex Windows platforms
o Automation using configuration management systems
o Mainstream Windows operating systems, such as Windows 2003/2008/2012 (R2)
o Apache / Tomcat / WAMP / GlassFish web/app services
o PowerShell to automate repeatable work
o Scripting with Batch, VB, Peri & WMI
o Windows Operating System hardening
o Analyzing and troubleshooting
• 1+ Years of administration experience of IIS 6 & 7 with exposure to IIS 8
• 1+ Years of experience on working with multiple cloud providers such as Azure, vCloud & AWS
