We are inviting professionals of exceptional caliber to join the Keppel C T Developments (Private) Limited team as:

Safety Officer

Main Responsibilities

– Assist senior management and/or Manager, H&S to develop and/or implement programs to achieve health & safety objectives as per company’s requirements
– Assist in maintaining and improving the safety and health standards of the company and all affiliated project sites as the company deemed appropriate.
– Oversee all project sites’ health & safety performances and promoting safety excellence at worksites
– Maintain an up to date knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and industry H&S best practices.
– Review of Risk Assessment and control measures implemented at contractors’ worksites in accordance to local requirements and best practices.
– Assist in investigating all reportable accidents or problem areas and review recommendations made for future preventive measures.
– Feedback on safety performance of contractors.
– Prepare safety statistics and analysis reports with suggestions on improvements.
– Participate in safety audits / inspections as and when required.
– Enhance contractor’s safety management system and promotional programs.
– To advise and advocate health and safety issues to Project PM and safety team.
– To encourage and promote workers’ safe work behavior and conduct.

Candidate Requirement:

– Minimum Diploma from recognized institutions preferably from building and construction related disciplines.
– Certified Occupational Health and Safety Professional
– At least 5 years’ H&S experience in a building construction environment.
– Strong knowledge of H&S regulations in the Region would have an added advantage.
– Positive attitude with good communication skills and a team player.
– Well versed with MS office applications.
