Quantity Surveyor
Main Responsibilities
– Manage financial and contractual terms of a wide variety of projects, from pre-tender to post- contract stages
– Prepare contract documents, quantities, and cost estimates, manage cost information, and conduct feasibility studies
– Manage, evaluate, keep proper records on Request for Variation Orders for the project
– Responsible for the measurement of quantities of tenders, cost plans and indicative pricing requests.
– Reviewing tender quantities and tender documents
– Maintaining a pricing library
Candidate Requirement:
– Degree in Quantity Surveying
– Must be accredited as a member with Institution of Quantity Surveyor, Sri Lanka
– Minimum 7 years site experience
– Strong knowledge of working drawings and local construction practices
– Conversant with local building codes and regulations
– Good supervisory and leadership skills
– Strong sense of integrity and honesty
