The Role — Production Executive

The selected candidate need to work with Production Manager and the plant leadership team to set operating targets for key metrics by aligning P&L requirements and stretch project opportunities. Provide positive leadership and guidance to staff in the Glove Manufacturing area in order to meet agreed Manufacturing programs, at the required quality levels with minimal wastage and most efficient use of human resources. . Ensure all equipment is maintained within specification and is in good condition and available for use. Maintain high housekeeping standards. Ensure all environmental control equipment are working and all environmental requirements are met to prevent spillages.

Ensure that the Production Manager and all other relevant Managers are aware all problems, potential problems and developments, which will impact on the business. Assist them in the development of the Plant.

Need to work with manufacturing and finance teams to build consensus on calculation and reporting standards for productivity, throughput, quality and other key metrics.

Act as a resource to manufacturing sites and outsource suppliers on tools, skill development and opportunity assessment related to improving key cost, quality, and speed. Responsible to conduct IQAs on Company Quality System and EHS Audits.

Ensure that reports and statistical information are prepared and submitted on a timely basis, which give a true and factual account of the Production activities to production and other senior management team.

Candidate’s Profile:

• Minimum of a BSc (Chemical) or BSc (Engineering).
• Minimum 3-4 years of manufacturing experience,
• Should have strong technical background especially with Processing. Statistical Process Analysis and Controls, Quality Management Systems, MS Office Excel, Word, Access and other computer literacy.
• Knowledge about understanding of Financial Systems, Cost Analysis, Ensure all existing systems are followed and improved as required, Continuous improvement projects are suggested, supported and implemented to get the optimum plant performance.
• Experience with Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Order Management, and Service Metrics.
• Provide positive leadership and guidance to staff in the Glove Manufacturing area in order to meet agreed Manufacturing programs, at the required quality levels with minimal wastage and most efficient use of human resources
• Take positive steps to ensure that only safe working practices are allowed and safe conditions and necessary safety equipment are provided and used correctly by employees in the Plant in particular and on the site generally. Ensure all laid down safety procedures are adhered to and every action is taken which will minimize or eliminate wherever possible the risk of accident or injury to employees
• Investigate customer complaints. Analyze results and report findings to Asst. QA & RA Manager through Production Manager.
• Implement approved Employees Relation practices, programs and procedures, which will engender harmonious relationship and minimize the risk of third party intervention and / or Industrial disputation or inefficiencies caused by absenteeism of labour turnover. Take corrective action where necessary in accordance with SOP’s to ensure that these are achieved.
• Supervise stock takes at periodic and specific times together with required reconciliation’s. Work closely with the Logistics & Supply Department in determining schedules, machine loading and purchase requirements.
