PHP/MySQL Web Developer
A dynamic Colombo based tech business, we’re looking for a bright web developer to join us. If you like your PHP object oriented, MySQL & your HTML validated, we’re going to get on well.
Initially this will be a contract based role with flexible hours, working either from your premises. We understand you might not be a fan of working from behind a desk, so if you want to work in the sunshine (or somewhere else), we understand. If you prefer to work when the stars are out, that’s fine with us too – the doors are always open.
Should everything go smoothly, we’d be interested in converting the role to full time while retaining flexibility & a great work/life balance. Applicants will be expected to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and common sense.
Technical Skills
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
• Outstanding knowledge of PHP/MySQL
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Linux and Apache
• Experience in HTML, HTML5, PHP, XML and Bootstrap
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
General Requirements:
• Worked in the industry on PHP projects.
• Fluent English mandatory as client and team communication is a major part of the role
• Fast learner, goal-oriented, resourceful, can work with a minimum supervision.
• Team player
