Young and upcoming digital design agency based in London has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic front-end developer to join their creative team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing Web/Internet/Digital services to deliver information and services to their customers.
• Responsible for design, build, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code to the development standard.
• Responsible for responding to problems and faults reported by external and staff Web/Internet users, diagnosing these, and taking necessary action to provide a remedy.
• Responsible for supporting and ensuring the availability and performance of the company’s Web and other Internet services, in co-operation with the external hosting company, offshore technical developers and the Technical Support staff as appropriate.
• Responsible for data manipulation and extraction to support usage analysis, performance reporting and other requirements.
Skills & Experience:
• Strong experience of complex Web-system development in one or more of the following programming languages/database technologies/ server environments, with the ability to design, document and implement systems.
• Experience of working with Web sites handling tens or hundreds of thousands of visitors a month.
• Sound working knowledge of MS SQL server software, with the ability to configure, develop, optimise and troubleshoot database services and interactions.
• Wide knowledge of Internet and related technologies, and interest in their use to deliver effective and relevant services.
• Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise a wide range of tasks.
