General Manager / CEO

Job Profile:

• Setting goals and objectives for the Bank
• Devising strategies and reviewing policies to ensure business objectives are met
• Motivating self and the team to achieve objectives
• Managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations and administration of the Bank

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Accountancy / Management / Commerce / Mathematics / Economics / Law from a recognized university or equivalent professional qualification from ICASL / CIMA / ACCA / CFA and MBA from a recognized university with 12 years of post qualifying experience in a Bank or Financial Institution of which 05 years should be at a Senior Managerial position or
• Degree in Accountancy / Management / Commerce / Mathematics / Economics / Law from a recognized university or equivalent professional qualification from ICASL / CIMA /ACCA / CFA with 14 years of post qualifying experience in a Bank or Financial Institution of which 05 years should be at a Senior Managerial position

Or

• AIB / Diploma in Bank Management with 16 years experience in a Bank or Financial Institution of which 05 years should be at a Senior Managerial position

He / she should possess excellent leadership qualities and communication skills

Manager

Job Profile:

• Set targets for the Branch and drive the team to achieve them.
• Organize deposit mobilization campaigns to achieve targets while maintaining a close rapport with Customers.
• Evaluate credit proposals expediously to achieve lending targets while maintaining NPL ratio to a minimum.
• Cross selling of banking products to optimize Customer revenue.
• Identify new avenues of increasing revenue.

Candidate Profile:

• Self motivated target driven individuals with a degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university / institution with 5 years of post qualifying experience in a Bank out of which 2 years should be in a Branch
Or
• AIB / Diploma in Bank Management with 07 years of experience in a Bank out of which 2 years should be in a Branch.
Or
• Four passes at GCE Advance Level (old syllabus) or three passes at GCE Advance Level (new syllabus) with 15 years of experience in a Bank out of which 5 years should be in a Branch at managerial level. Proven track record of leadership skills to develop and manage in a team environment.

Preference would be given to permanent residents of the Northern & North Central Provinces.

Company Secretary

Job Profile:

• Convening Board meetings in compliance with Company Act and CBSL directions.
• Coordinating with other divisions and preparation of Board papers & circulating to the Board of Directors.
• Recording decisions taken at Board meetings and providing extracts to the relevant divisions expediously for implementation and ensure safe custody of the records both in physical and soft form.
• Maintenance & up-dating of all relevant Registers.
• Coordinating with the Registrar of Companies and complying with statutory requirements.
• Providing support and guidance to the Directors with respect to their duties and responsibilities in order to assist in discharging their duties effectively.

Candidate Profile:

• Attorney – at- Law /Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of UK, registered with the Registrar of Companies with 5 years of post qualifying experience.

Assistant Manager – Treasury Management

Job Profile:

• Maintain & manage investment &trading portfolio separately in an efficient manner.
• Reviewing & setting maximum exposures with regard to investment portfolio of each institution / instruments depending on market conditions.
• Conduct periodical financial analysis related to treasury transactions.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Finance /Accountancy from a recognized university or equivalent professional qualification from ICASL/ACCA with 04 years of post qualifying experience in a Bank / Financial Institution with exposure to treasury management.
Or
• AIB / Diploma in Bank Management with 07 years of experience in a Bank / Financial Institution of which 04 years should be in a Treasury Division.

Office Assistant

Candidate Profile:

• Six simple passes and three credit passes at GCE Ordinary Level (old syllabus & new syllabus) including (Sinhala/Tamil) Language with 2 years experience in a similar capacity.

Preference would be given to permanent residents of the Northern and North Central Provinces.

Upper age limit is 57 years. If the successful candidate is above 45 years he/she will be recruited on contract basis.
