Executive – Tenders/Trading and Special Projects – Male
Job Role-:
– Preparing/handling & participating in government tenders.
– Regular customer visits and follow-ups with government authorities based on tenders.
– Preparing applications and obtaining Public contract Act certificates from authorities.
– Liaison with foreign principals and sourcing new suppliers for various applications in the engineering industry for ICB tenders.
– Pricing and preparation of specifications for tenders.
– Coordinate with government authorities based on tenders and to ensure on time deliveries.
– Preparing monthly reports.
– Coordinate with accounts divisions/banks to obtain on time guarantees.
– Liaison with foreign principals and sourcing new suppliers for ICB and local tenders.
– Quantity survey/structural analysis and designing will be a definite advantage
– Excellent knowledge in computer applications including email, internet, power point and graphic designing would be an added advantage
– Excellent communication skills and fluent in English/Sinhala.
Experience:
– Hands on working experience in the overall tender operations / procedures with about 1-2 years in a reputed engineering organization for immediate recruitment.
Age: should be between 30-35
Salary: will be negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
The selected candidate should be pro-active and willing to work long hours as and when required by the management.
