Civil and Structural Engineer
Main Responsibilities
– Co-ordinate field activities, with contractors, site and design teams
– Co-ordinate with agencies, sub agencies for day to day progress of work with material and manpower
– Site inspections and field observation for compliance with required quality and good workmanship practice
– Analyze, plan, direct, operate and maintain different types of civil & structural work
– Plan and execute construction activity in line with scheduled target to ensure timely completion of project
– Specify and organize procurement of materials
– Check materials, measurements and workmanship
– Effective resource utilization to maximize output
– Provide technical inputs and resolve bottlenecks
– Maintain records and prepare reports on projects
– Pile foundation
– Block Masonry
– Internal plastering, water proofing, PHE and services
– Tiling and Painting
Candidate Requirement:
– Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from a University
– Must be accredited as an Engineer with Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL)
– Minimum 7 years’ site experience
– Strong knowledge of civil and structural details, working drawings and local construction practices
– Conversant with local building codes and regulations
– Proficient with AutoCad and Microsoft Office
– Able to work independently under less supervision
– Good supervisory and leadership skills
