One of our prestigious Clients’ who is a leading “International Technology Platform Provider” is looking for a competent “Android Developer” to work in their Colombo office immediately.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Full cycle end-to-end development from design through implementation
– Engage with stakeholders and developers to ensure business requirements and expected outcomes are compatible with the current architecture.
– Understand the requirements in order to design, develop, and test the solution.
– Maintain code integrity, documentation, version control, and organization.
– Innovate and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop creative technological solutions.
– Develop clean, responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
– Collaborate with the team on release management, version control, and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
– A Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
– At least 2 years of experience in native Android Development.
– Should have implemented at least 3 apps.
– Strong knowledge of Java.
– Hands-on experience with Android Studio and OO programming/design.
– Hands-on experience with at least one app analytics tool; Localytics, MixPanel, Flurry.
– Familiarity with Messaging APIs and Push notification services.
– Familiarity with source version control (SVN, GIT)
– Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines.
– Working Experience in different screen sizes and Android versions.
– Working Experience in application security, performance tuning, and publishing.
– Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
– Attention to detail in all aspects of the development process.
– Ability to understand and pick-up new technologies quickly.
– Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, managing time effectively, and reporting progress regularly.
