Duties/Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and implement web applications across web and mobile platforms
• Translate business requirements into functional applications based on client requirements
• Provide documentation of all new developments and updates, and ensure all such records are kept up-to-date
Experience/Knowledge Required
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• High level of expertise with at least 3 years professional experience in the following:
o Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
o PHP (Core PHP & frameworks eg CradlePHP), JSP
o MySQL, WAMPP / XAMPP, Apache server
o Responsive web design (HTML5, CSS. JOuery, Bootstrap, etc)
o Java SE and Java EE environments (with multi-threaded, multi-process experience)
o Application integrations (server and client) using SOAP and RESTful APIs (JSON/XML)
o Relational database design and integration with Java eg MySQL
o HTTP[S] security concerns and hardening techniques in the Java environment
• Working knowledge in:
o SOA concepts (asynchronous messaging)
o C #
o Socket programming
Additional Experience In any of the following is preferred:
• Development of Programs: PMS, POS. Booking, staff workflow systems
