Perma Shipping Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a Transhipment/EQC Executive
Responsibilities:
– Declaring T/S connections to feeder agents and port
– Monitoring all T/S loading /discharging & Updating T/S Data Base system
– Declaring t/s connections to feeder agents and port
– Sending T/S loading confirmation / TDR to other agents
– Solely responsible for Feeder Transhipment connections / Nominations.
– Liaison with feeder agents and daily monitoring of feeder positions.
– Booking space on feeder vessels.
– Sending feeder loading & discharging figures for PHC payments.
– Constant liaison with other Port of Loading (POL) agents with regard to connection details, Holdback, C.O.D. & Return shipments or other queries and all messages replied promptly.
– Daily updating all container movements such as depot In / Out movements, discharging and loading movements, Terminal In / out movements in to the local & online systems.
– Preparing weekly stock report, Special units monitoring report & Weekly Idling report
– Liaising with Head Office M&R Manager with regards to container repairs & reefer pti
– Nominating a suitable yard for empty container returned from consignees & inform Import department.
– Selecting & nominating suitable yard to pick empty containers for shippers (according to their requirements) and inform Marketing department.
– Stock maintaining & empty positioning.
You should:
– Have a minimum of 2 years’ Experience in Liner and Freight Forwarding.
– Be Fluent in English, have good communication and negotiation skills.
– Be Computer Literate.
– Have a good knowledge on the shipping procedure.
