Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform duties assigned by MEP Director/Manager/Team Leader, and ensure all duties are undertaken within the required timeframe.
• Prepare concept, basic and detail design drawings in Auto CAD MEP or in Revit MEP, ensuring that the design are undertaken in accordance with local codes and international standards.
• Check and comment construction drawings prepared by designers and shop drawings prepared by contractors and validate requirements of MEP
• Supervising MEP work done by contractors at site
• Plan and design or validate drawings received from Consultant.
• Review MEP tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ ) and evaluate bids received from contractors.
• Support PM for finalizing contracts.
• Review & comments MEP contractors bills
• Negotiate change orders with contractors
• Implement strict Quality Control procedures on site
• Prepare equipment & material technical schedules and submit to Team Leader for review and validation.
Experience:
• 5-8 years relevant experience in hotel projects will be preferred.
Education & Skills Required:
• BE (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Very good hands-on knowledge of electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, and plumbing works works
• Good ability to read & review drawings and communicate with designers
• Good command of English and ability to write minutes of meeting
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good reporting skills with management
