Sales Engineer – Steel Building Solutions
Promotes the Steel Building Solutions (SBS) offerings to customers by providing technical solutions and operational expertise. Builds and maintain long term relationship with customers. Executes the sales process to aid in cultivating and managing long-term relationships and in seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
■ Sell without any supervision, the SBS offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners to reach optimal profit levels.
■ Builds partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sales of SBS offerings.
■ Understands the customer’s business and speak their language. Demonstrates technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
■ Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with multiple prospective customers. Develops network of contacts. Understands and influence the sales process with previous sales technical and negotiation experience.
■ Influence the project descriptions and specifications for required standards to fulfill the technical requirements by visiting consultants Architectures and end customers and making presentations.
■ Understand and address customer’s needs and requirements. Recommends solutions and links customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage.
■ Differentiates services and products from competitors based on business benefits.
Qualification:
■ Engineering Degree in Civil or Mechanical with more than 2 years of experience or relevant
Other Requirement:
■ Steel Structural design, BOQ and cost estimation
■ Sound knowledge in AutoCAD and other structural design software
■ Project Management skills
■ Sales and Selling knowledge
■ MS Office, Project Excel, Word, etc.
■ Customer intimacy, excellent communication skills.
