Sales Associate — Reseller
Proporta.com, a leading UK based design and manufacture company of brilliant and stylish Smartphone, PDA, Net book/Laptop, MP3 Player cases and accessories, has an immediate vacancy for a Sales associate, for their Reseller team which is based in UK.
The prospective candidate should be an extreme team player who can work well with our team based in Colombo 3 and be dedicated to meeting the needs of the business.
The job responsibilities:
– Regular documented sales calls to prospective customers in pre-agreed territories as determined by the Head of Sales.
– Provide support in creating targeted emailing to existing and potential resellers in conjunction with sales support staff in the UK
– Provide price lists, shipping information, product lead times, marketing materials where available to
prospective customers.
– Respond to the requirements of the UK account managers to support the existing customer to expand the depth of supply of products to current accounts.
– Provide weekly breakdowns on which brands/products have been offered to customers and responses received.
– Research network operators in agreed territories, number of stores and distributors supplying these operators and feed back findings to the sales manager.
– Research other major retailers, department stores in agreed territories, which competitors’ products are currently listed and report this back to the sales manager.
– Provide Sales Manager with assistance in putting together a sales and marketing plan on quarterly and annual basis
The right candidate should posses:
– Sound Knowledge in Sales and Marketing
– An Excellent command of English
– Candidates with established clientele is preferred, tough not a must
– Individual who is initiative, self-motivated and willing to gain new skills
– A very good team player with the ability to work under pressure
– Experience in selling in marketplaces like Amazon and eBay will be a definite advantage
Above industry standard remuneration with commission on sales will be offered to the right candidate. The position offers a good exposure to the ever-changing and ever-growing sales and marketing world with a well-established UK company.
