Roadway Restaurant, a newly opened modern Restaurant situated just outside Colombo, in Hokandara is looking for suitable candidates for immediate recruitment for the following positions.
Chef
A talented Chef who can train and lead a team of young and energetic professionals who possesses hands on experience in preparation of Sri Lankan, Chinese, North Indian and South Indian cuisine and bakery operations with a proven track record.
Responsibilities:
– Head the Hot, Cold Kitchen and the Bakery team
– Recruitment, Training and Development of the team
– Creation of Recipes and Menus
– Maintain Hygiene and meet Safety measures
– Purchasing and Storage
Requirements:
– A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef/Chef de Parte in a recognized Hotel or a Restaurant
– Ability to understand Customer Requirements
– Be Proactive
– Team Player
– Capacity to work long hours
– Ability to work under pressure
Salary and Benefits:
Negotiable depending on the experience and capabilities. Single accommodation and food will be provided.
COMMIS I (Chinese/Sri Lankan/North and South Indian/Pastry)
We are on the look— out for talented professionals to be recruited in the Hot Kitchen as Commis I in Chinese, Sri Lankan, North & South Indian and also for the Bakery.
Requirements:
– A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Commis in a recognized Hotel or a Restaurant in the relevant field
– Team Player
– Capacity to work long hours
– Ability to work under pressure
Salary and Benefits:
Negotiable depending on the experience and capabilities. Single accommodation and food will be provided.
Business Development Executive (Males Only)
We are looking for a suitable candidate to develop the business development strategies and execute them and develop the distribution channel.
Requirements:
– Be able to achieve sales targets
– Be able to develop sales development activity
– Be able to develop new co-operate customers
– Do posses a valid riding license
– Passionate in providing outstanding services that exceeds customer expectations.
Qualifications and Competencies:
– Be able to converse in English
– Ability work with minimum supervision
– 01 year experience in a similar capacity will be an advantage
– Be Computer Literate
– Be in the age group of 20 — 35 years
– Full or Part Qualification from a recognized Marketing Body will be an advantage
