QA / QC Engineer – MEP (Location – Weligama)
Career Opportunity at the Construction of 200 Key Weligama Bay, Marriott Resort & Spa
Duties & Responsibilities:
• In-charge for overseeing MEP QA/QC work.
• Prepare all necessary documents and attachments for the inspection and testing requirement.
• Review the mechanical / electrical works check list, as built drawing and related quality control documents.
• Review all materials received on the site, inspecting them, ensuring they are as per approval.
• Conduct testing within the required specification and to monitor frequency of testing.
• Attend and participate in QA/QC meetings.
• Liaise with the construction execution team management resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
• Overall quality supervision for MEP works.
• Comply, implement and participate in the improvement of established ISO QMS & EHSMS procedures/ documentations and maintain records keeping
• Ensuring that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and site requirements.
• Coordinating for internal quality audit.
• Interacting with the project team in Quality requirements.
Experience:
• 2-5 years relevant experience in hotel projects will be preferred.
Education & Skills Required:
• Hold a Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Quality related field.
• Establish and maintain outstanding interpersonal relationship skills.
• Utilize conflict management and negotiation skills.
• Exercise good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with clarity for all to understand.
