Microsoft Dot Net Developer (Colombo)

Technical Skills required:-
– Minimum 2 years commercial programming experience
– Microsoft Dot Net (version 2.0 or higher) essential
– Strong C#, WPF, WCF, Visual Studio essential
– Microsoft SQL Development skill including stored procedure and Views Development
– jQuery (JavaScript) + HTML + CSS
– Win forms on Dot Net
– Web application build using ASP Dot Net
– Web Services (XML, XSL)
– Object oriented design knowledge
– Knowledge of unit testing and basic software testing methodology
– Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines
– knowledge of formal software development lifecycle

Key Performance Areas (KPA’s)
– Previous experience with the creation of new systems using web based technologies, C#, ASP Dot Net, Classic ASP and interaction with MS SQL Server.
– Previous experience with the maintenance of the existing Systems using Web based technologies, C#, ASP Dot Net, Classic ASP and interaction with MS SQL Server.
– Ensure that all change and updates are property communicated and documented on a daily / weekly and monthly basis on our documentation and task management system.
– Ensure that company policies are followed at all times.
– Ensure that work is done according to the policies and quality standards set by the Development Manager
The Position includes but is not limited to the above KPS’s
The candidate will be responsible for maintenance, operational, procedural functions and System Development.
Over and above technical duties the position calls for good communication and managerial skills as well as an ability to interact with business users and interpret business requirements.
The Candidate will be based in Sri Lanka (Colombo) at our BPO partner offices, and will be working full time for a company based in South Africa.
The Job will be very project based and deadlines and KPA’s have to be met.
