Category Manager
Key roles and responsibilities:
• Develop brand and customer marketing plans to achieve Category objectives such as Sales Volume, Revenue and Brand Contribution Margins.
• Manage on effective brand portfolio in relation to current and future business needs.
• implement consumer and customer marketing plans through sound project management methodologies.
• Plan and execute retail merchandising to maintain the category leadership position.
• Effectively manage advertising and promotional strategies to support the brand portfolio and deliver brand equity targets.
• Be responsible in co-ordinating and developing good working relationships with all the relevant internal staff and advertising agencies.
Profile of the candidate:
• Should be o go-getter with a “Growth” mindset.
• Possess Over 3 years Of experience in the relevant field and capacity.
• Applicants should be below 30 years of age.
• Experience in retail sales and merchandising will be an added qualification.
• Good communication skills in Sinhala and English and knowledge of Tamil would be an added advantage.
• Professional qualifications are a prerequisite.
Colour-Matching Executives
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop Customer Relationships.
• Work with peers to achieve the monthly Forecasted Soles volume target.
• The ability to colour match without variations between batches.
• Ensure the working equipment are maintained properly.
Profile of the candidate:
• One year colour-matching experience or 2-3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Applicants should be below 30 years of age.
• GCE (A/L) qualified with Credit posses in Moths and English at GCE (O/L).
• Diploma from a Technical Training School will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Sinhala/English.
• Result-oriented, outgoing, disciplined and physically fit to work in a competitive working environment.
Technical Manager – Projects Sales
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Maintain strategic business relationships with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Other decision makers in the industry in terms of Technical Perspective.
• Be responsible for following-up on all day-to-day technical-related matters including Product Warrantees, Complaint Handling (if any), Sampling Work/Mock-ups, Technical Training, Techno-Commercial Proposals etc.
• Be updated regularly on the industry dynamics (in Technical Perspective) and enlighten management on the required moves.
• Conduct technical training and development of the B2B Sales Team.
Profile of the candidate:
• Age below 35 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Science
• At least 5 years work experience in B2B business operation, preferably in the field of Paints and Ancillaries.
• Excellent Presentation, Analytical and Technical Writing Skills.
• PR Skills – having strong business relationships with industry decision makers is on added advantage.
• Should be a Team Player.
• Need to travel across the island and work extra hours on demand (must hold a valid Driving License).
Area Sales Executive – Jaffna
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Achieve Sales & Distribution targets in the assigned area.
• Execute brand and consumer marketing initiatives effectively.
• Recommend and Implement business development proposals to maximise sales in the area.
• Fortify relationships with key retailers and distributors in the area for healthy business propositions.
Profile of the candidate:
• Age between 25 – 30 years.
• Fluent in Tamil and English. Education Qualification – Should have passed GCE A/L examination.
• At least 2 years’ soles experience in Hardware or FMCG sector.
• The candidate should preferably be from the Northern Province.
