The Sri Lanka Institute of Architects is the only Institution empowered by the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects Law No. 1 of 1976 (as amended) to regulate the education and practice of the Profession of Architecture in Sri Lanka. The following vacancies exist for suitably qualified persons willing to undertake a challenging position requiring initiative and effective PR skills to deal with senior and young professionals, students and the general public.
General Manager
Who shall
* Be the CEO of the Secretariat who will report to the Council of the Institute through Honorary Secretary
* Execute the work pertaining to the decisions of the Council and its Boards and Committees
* Achieve targets set by the Council of the institute
• Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports and maintain the standards.
• Maintain high standards of business and social ethics in order to enhance the image tithe Institute and the rights and privileges of its members and the general public
And the person the Council has In mind for the post shall
• Be a person with good academic and professional qualifications and with 7-10 years experience in a similar position
• Be around 45 years, healthy and energetic
• Having a strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and work in a team.
• Have an excellent command of and communication skills in English and good computer skills including MS Off ice software, e-mail and Internet Be familiar with the procurement methods. Progress and Financial Reports of an organization and General Administration clan office.
And the salary will be negotiable.
