Deputy Manager – Brands

CA Sri Lanka is also among the largest tertiary education providers in the country with a student population of over 44,000.

CA Sri Lanka is seeking an outstanding, result oriented and energetic professional with a high level of responsibility, competence, confidence, along with strong communication and leadership skills and a passion for brand management to take over the position of Deputy Manager Brands.

In addition, the ideal candidate should have a strong network with media institutions, and should be able to utilize the network to boost the public image of CA Sri Lanka.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing the relationships with corporate sponsors of CA Sri Lanka
• Execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market
• Define product strategies to take advantages of marketing opportunities
• Ensure effective product positioning in the market
• Conduct competitive strategic analysis consumer segmentation and consumer insight development.
• Execute and monitor advertising and media planning
• Develop mid-term marketing/branding plan and the potential profitability of products

Qualifications / Experience & Skills Required:

• A recognized degree / full or part professional qualification from a local or foreign university or professional body preferably in the marketing discipline.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in brand management.
• Previous knowledge in working with media is a must.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Should be an effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent administration and organizational skills.
• Be proactive and take initiative.
• IT skills including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• The job also requires occasional travelling out of Colombo
• Age – preferably below 30 years
