Assistant Manager Management Information Systems

The Job:-

As an Assistant Manager – MIS you would be reporting to the chief information Officer handling multiple internal IT projects in order to ensure smooth functioning of the MIS department in alignment with organizational objectives.

You would be required to perform following duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:-

– Manage, Execute and implement internal ICT initiatives according to time lines and budgetary allocations.
– Coordinate day to day IT operations together with the Managed Service Team.
– Develop information security policies, procedures and guidelines in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 standard, ensure proper implementation of security policies, procedures and guidelines and carryout periodic audits to confirm compliance.
– Implement and maintain disaster recovery sites for local offices to recover key processes.
– Liaises with external vendors for IT related procurement, Call / Evaluate competing quotes and negotiates with suppliers to secure the best deals.

Requirements:-

Qualification:-

– Relevant degree from a recognized university professional qualification / certification in Information Security

Experience:-

Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar role / capacity exposure to implementing or maintaining ISO 27001 standard (or similar information security certification)

Competencies:-

Excellent communication skills in ENglish, ability multitask and can do attitude people handling and leadership skills effective coordinate project between cross functional teams

Prior experience in a hardware / in house IT infrastructure environment would be an added advantage.
