Our client is a well reputed international conglomerate, located in Colombo looking for suitable candidates for following position to be based in Malaysia.
Assistant Manager-Customer Service (Merchandising)
Skills Required:
• Effective communication skills to work with team members and dents
• Very good organizational skills
• Excellent PR skills to handle customers under various circumstances
Qualifications:
• A Degree in Marketing or full professional qualifications in CIM
Experience:
• 4-5 years of relevant work experience preferable in merchandising background
• Experience in handling below activities:
O Coordinate with internal and external customers on order follow up and execution
O Manage customer complaint process
O Managing Sales Operations
O Formulate sample / small order requests and liaise with necessary plant innovation centre personnel to ensure that these are executed on time whilst keeping customer informed of status
O Monitor the performance of sales contracts and ensure minimal risks from company perspective
O Prepare required management information reports to monitor performance against targets set
O Develop & maintain appropriate systems to maintain sales & logistics details
O Prepare & circulate reports on sales performance as and when required by customers
O Follow-up and ensure timely collection of outstanding sales proceeds, adherence to stipulated credit policies and maintenance of sales terms / conditions with customers
O Assist to plan and execute a total marketing plan & strategies for the region and product categories
O Review the pricing for different products, customers and regions/countries on a regular manner and to ensure that an appropriate pricing strategy is adopted to capture market, stay competitive and to maximize product profitability
O Identify volume potentials of assigned markets and assist in developing sales strategies to ensure volume and margin fulfillment through a wide portfolio of customers.
O Identify market trends and obtain information related to competitor products, markets and strategies and liaise with R&D teams in devising the overall priorities related to product development and re-engineering initiatives.
