We are on the lookout for a Assistant Accountant for our well reputed Client Company located in Colombo.
Job Description
Collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders.
Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them.
Manage payroll activities and release salaries.
Work Attributes and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field may be preferred.
1-2 years of previous accounting experience
Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite productivity tools.
Ability to quickly learn and utilize industry-specific accounting tools Strongly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity of accounts
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask across different types of accounting-related projects
