Our Company , Diana Trading Co (Pvt)Ltd is Medium size homegrown food & confectionary company with operation span to all geographies locally , with a work forces in excess of 700 people. We produce Biscuits, Snacks which are baked, Fried & Extruded, Chocolates & Sugar Candies. Our brands and products in many of these areas could deservedly become future Sri-Lankan icons. As we build this our homegrown food company.
Transport Manager
The transport manager ensures the entire transportation in or out of an organization is handled quickly, safely, and within budget constraints. This might include oversight of transportation of Products, equipment’s and workforce operated by an organization. He might also coordinate with outside companies which provide freight services. Familiarity with Manage the tour itianeries, shipments / delivery options, legal issues, government regulations, and safety procedures is required, as is knowledge of geography, mathematics, and computer applications coupled with Mechanical & Technical knowledge of Heavy & Light Vehicles. He should have professional qualifications in Transport & Logistics Management with minimum of 04 – 06 years experience in management capacity. Good communication skills both Sinhala & English. Speaking in Tamil would be an added advantage. Must coupled with trustworthiness & self disciplined, strong leadership skills, pleasant personality with excellent PR, Being a good team player with sound computer literacy with good presentation skills are prerequisites for this position.
