Immediate Vacancy Manager Operations – Colombo, Sri Lanka

Job Description:

• Streamline and synergize operations as per Organization requirement.
• Carry out Site Surveys and other related activities depending on BD leads and Client requirements
• Bring in Operations Management culture and key aspects of Operational Engineering (not technical but preferred) across all our Operations.
• Have strong local understanding and experience in recruitment and man management.
• Develop a strong ground level team through recruitment, training and deployment on site and regular monitoring of their performance
• Ensure that the Client Customer Service deliverables (SLA’s & PI’s where applicable) are met
• Generate all Corporate level and Site Level operational MIS and have the review of the same with the Client and internally on a Monthly Basis and as required.
• Generate a strong vendor base and manage the same
• Ensure that the Office premises are treated as a Client site and levels of cleanliness, hygiene, Engineering Services and basic amenities are in place.
• Work in close liaison with the Landlord for services provided by him for our Office premises
• Ensure high staff morale, trust and work ethics
• Build and maintain an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation and performance excellence within team
• Build and develop effective client / stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organization to ensure that expectations are met
• Be the key point of contact for Facilities in the Clients premises and carry out calendarized formal monthly meetings with MMR with the Client
• Ensure that the Payroll processing of the on-ground staff is done in line with the Contract cost sheet and all statutory compliances are met
• Ensure timely submission of invoices to the Client after checking the on-ground attendance and that the receivables are collected in a timely manner thereby ensuring that thee financial processes are followed
• Ensure set profitabilities are maintained and achieved. • Ensure expiry of contracts are well-monitored and re-connect with clients for renewals • Any other job as specified by your Management from time to time.

Requirement:

• Any Graduate / Post Graduate. Additional Facility Management qualification would be an added bonus.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Facility Management (Soft Services)

• Core knowledge of Colombo market and recruitment hubs related to the FM field
• Understanding of Facility Management requirements and trends.

• Key Account Management
• Hands-on knowledge of basic computer skills like MS Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook etc.
