This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Manager to provide strategic management support to Sri Lanka Programme ensuring enabling environment for programme delivery by managing finance, human resources, logistics and IT services.
The role:
You will work closely with the Associate Country Director and provide leadership and strategic direction to the business support team, comprising HR, Finance, IT, Logistics and Administration services. You are responsible for effective and efficient delivery of all business support services to the Sri Lanka country programme. As a member of senior management team ensure all business service issues are considered in all strategic decision making, proactively work with programme staff to ensure understanding of, and accountability to policy and procedure framework and advise on possible solutions for identified constraints. You will directly manage a team of professionals in Finance, HR, IT and Logistics, and be responsible for ensuring effective coordination and team
working in the delivery of all business support services.
You will have:
– A full qualification in finance (FCMA, FCA or equivalent), human resource management and / or management. A MBA is preferred.
– A minimum of 05 years progressively responsible experience at senior management level in the field of business support services with an international development agency is preferable.
– Considerable breath of skills and experience in people and financial management, influencing skills, leadership and capacity building skills.
– Excellent command of English language and the capacity to communicate effectively, orally and in written formats.
– Excellent public and human relations skills and good sense of judgement and high level of discretion and diplomacy.
– Computer literacy.
