Assistant Manager / Executive Tax

The tax division of EY Sri Lanka offers a wide range of tax consultancy, compliance and advisory services.

Joining our team would expose you to the following:

– Some of the most complex and challenging tax compliance and advisory assignments
– The highest standard of tax compliance and tax advisory service delivery
– Planning, budgeting, managing and developing the services and relationships of a diversified portfolio of Sri Lankan & Multinational clients
– Liaising with officers of the Inland Revenue Department and The Tax Appeals Commission and appearing on behalf of clients for appeal hearings, submissions and settlements
– Liaising with other global Ernst & Young offices on International Tax assignments relevant to Sri Lanka

We are seeking to engage high performing young graduates and newly qualified professionals. Suitable experience in the area of Sri Lanka and International Taxation and Law would be an advantage.

The ideal candidates should:

– Possess an accounting, finance academic /professional qualification (CIMA, CA Sri Lanka, ACCA).
– Having a legal qualification would be a distinct advantage.
– Possess exceptional communication and client interaction skills in the English language.
– Have the ability to work independently, work under pressure and have a passionate attitude towards work.
– Experience in tax related advisory and compliance work would be an advantage.
