Accountant

Responsibilities:

– Responsible for the Full Sets of Accounting Books in Quick Books Accounting System
– Preparation of Monthly Financial & Management reports (PandL, BS, Variance Analysis 84 other reports)
– Ensure all Reports are submitted Completely, Accurately & on Time (CAT)
– Ensure all Government & Corporate Taxes & remittances are accurately computed & submitted on time
– Ensure Financial records are prepared and maintained based on Acceptable Policies, Rules & Procedures
– Management of Daily, Weekly & Monthly Cash Flow / Submission of Weekly Cash balances Report
– Processing of Monthly Payroll & Government mandated employee benefits
– Perform Account reconciliation, Bank reconciliation & Inter-Company reconciliations
– Implementation of Company policies, Rules & Regulations and Internal Control
– Administration & HR functions

Requirements:

– Applicant must possess Degree in Accounting or equivalent / CPA/CA is welcome
– Applicants who possess Professional Qualification e.g ACCA, CIMA (fully or partly qualified with working
experience) will be an added advantage.
– Knowledgeable in General Accounting, A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets, Inventory etc
– With experience in Corporate & Government Taxes
– With experience in liaising with Banks, Auditors, Corporate Secretary & Government Agencies.
– Willing to handle Administration, HR functions and ad-hoc jobs
– At least 3 years working experience in the related field is required for this position;
– Preferably applicants with prior experience working in a local Travel Agency.
– Hands on person and a keen eye for details.
– Must be fluent in English language;
– Communication skills in Japanese is an added advantage;
– Proficient in Microsoft Office application;
– Ability to provide sound recommendation for improvement and business growth.

Training will be provided by H.l.S.

Applicant must be willing to travel overseas in short notice.
