Vacancy – System Engineer L2/L3
Our client is an Australian based ITC service provider, having its back office operation in Sri Lanka.
Competency-fit:
As the System Engineer, you are expected to be versatile, dependable, dedicated and capable of working under pressure.
The ideal candidate should be with 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in System Support and Administration.
Job Responsibilities
Having selected, you will become a leading member of the Senior Technical Support team, providing efficient and effective remote support and assistance to the wider business units.
Eligibility
To be successful you will need to possess:
– Bachelor’s degree in ICT or an or equivalent academic/professional qualification.
– A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Extensive knowledge and experience in MS Windows server environments such as 2000/2003/2008.
– Strong communication skills.
Technical Skills
– Advanced knowledge in MS Exchange, WSUS, DHCP, DNS, IIS & ISA servers.
– Excellent trouble shooting skills and Knowledge in Antivirus products.
– Knowledge in Data Backup technologies and a good Knowledge of HP & Dell Servers.
– Knowledge/experience with routers and switches.
Candidates having exposure in Apple MAC/ Linux/ CISCO/ CITRIX/VMware will have a definite advantage.
