Import Export Executive or a Logistics Manager (Sri Lanka)

A BOI factory in Polgasowita is looking for an experienced Import Export Executive or a Logistics Manager
Candidate profile:
– Possess suitable training & qualification in the field, with work experience of 6-7 years.
– Good skills in maintaining records & Excel Spread sheets.
– Will posses ability to change to suite work conditions & demands.
Good work ethics , be proactive and have a ” can do” attitude towards work in a fast paced environment.
Job Profile:
– Coordinate activities with Clearing / Forwarding agent & buyer nominated parties, clear imports and ship consignments and be in a position to track shipments from door to door.
– Communicate with all agencies including BOI, Chamber of Commerce, Other Govt., Depts., etc.,
– Provide quick information to customers and helping them with necessary trade certificates to clear the consignments on time. Knowledge of Stores operations is an advantage though not essential.
– A suitable candidate backed with relevant qualifications and over 10 years of service could be considered for a Managerial position.
– Ability to takeup appointment at short notice and those living in close proximity to Kesbewa, Homagama or Horana will be preferred. Right candidate could expect career progress in a short period of time.
