Our client is a globally renowned Sports Wear brand looking for suitable candidates for following position:
Apparel Manufacturing Innovation Manager
Skills Required:
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Effective project and resource management experience and proactive approach
• Excellent Presentation skills in presenting technical information
• Effective problem solver
• Ability to work in word/excel/powerpoint
• Ability to work in 3D CAD (Solidworks or similar)
Qualifications
• Degree specialized in either Mechanical, Industrial, Textile or Chemical Engineering
Experience:
• 5-8 years of experience in Appeal product engineering and/or manufacturing handling below tasks;
• Machinery investigation and setting up lines to scale manufacturing
• Run prototype trials to validate process and scalability
• Making early recommendations on prototyping techniques and tooling solutions
• Identifying potential manufacturing or efficiency concerns
• Standardize and document manufacturing process/machinery and best practices in order to copy/paste in different locations
• Research new technologies and machinery inside and outside of the industry
• Identify areas of opportunity to increase production efficiency, quality, performance and decrease cost and energy usage
• Product knowledge and thorough understanding of textile based product creation and manufacturing processes
• Strong knowledge in both electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of tooling design
