Trainee Secretary – Fixed Term Contract
The Person:
A self motivated, result oriented dynamic individual who is willing to perform in a challenging work environment.
Requirements:
• Minimum of five (05) Credits at GCE (O/L) Examination, including Mathematics, in the first sitting.
A Credit Pass for English obtained at a subsequent sitting will also be considered for eligibility
• Two (02) passes at GCE (A/L) Examination (in one sitting) excluding General English
• Age below 25 years
• A minimum of one (01) year secretarial experience in a reputed organization
The ideal candidate should also possess following:
• A good working knowledge of word processing packages and speed typing
• An excellent knowledge of both spoken and written English
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage assigned tasks
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
The selected candidates will be placed on a Fixed Term Contract of three (3) years. However, on successful completion of the first two (2) years of the Fixed Term Contract, the candidates who possess Certificate in Banking and Finance (CBF) conducted by the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) will be considered for the selection process for Junior Executives, subject to availability of positions.
