Software Engineer in PHP (Colombo)

We are on the lookout for young, energetic and challenge seeking individuals who are capable of taking ownership of the responsibilities assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain software solutions.
• Translate business requirements to functional applications.
• Provide documentation and milestone updates for all developments.
Prerequisites for the position:
• A degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent qualifications.
• Candidates with a minimum of 2 years in software backend development experience would be preferred.
• In depth experience in software development, data structure and databases.
• Strong knowledge in PHP language is required, Codelgniter is a MUST.
• Knowledge of Laravel Framework would be an added advantage.
• Object Oriented Programming in development of systems, applications and web services.
• Good knowledge of analysis and design principles, UML and software development life cycle.
• Excellent knowledge and hands on practice in MSSQL, MySQL and queries.
• Ability to work in an agile and dynamic development environment.
• Young and versatile candidate below the age of 35.
• Strong Personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English language is a MUST.
• Analytical thinking for error troubleshooting.
• Customer focus, teamwork, reliability, leadership and a go-getter attitude.
• Should be a fast and skilled learner.
• Good command of spoken and written English language is a MUST.
• Ability to work in an agile and dynamic development environment.
