Senior PHP/Java Tech Lead
We are a software development company, with a presence in Sri Lanka for more than 5 years. We provide software solutions for clients in Australia, Russia, UK and USA.
The selected candidate will be required to work with team of software engineers and coordinate/report work with project managers in Australia & Sri Lanka.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provides Technical lead support and lead a team of developers
• Evaluating project scope and providing time estimations
• Participating in technical discussions
• System Analysis and Specification
• System Architecture Design
• Introducing latest development technologies
• Contribute to Development Process and Project Management
• Sharing the time efficiently between Development and Tech Support
Skills and Experience:
• At minimum 2 years’ experience as a Tech Lead/Senior Tech Lead is A MUST
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar discipline
• Minimum of 3-4 years industry experience as a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer.
• Proficient in PHP/ PHP related frameworks (Symfony 2, Zend, Laravel, Yii) and MySQL databases and database queries.
• Experience working with Java/J2EE technologies
• Experience in 00D/UML, Spring, Hibernate, WeblogicaBoss, Tomcat JUnit, Oracle and working experience on Linux /Mac environment are a strong plus
• Web application development and experience in Struts/JSF, Portal technologies is an added advantage.
• Experience in enterprise scale application development and the ability to understand and apply design patterns based on this experience..
• Proven skills on Fast Learning of new Business Architecture
• Proven skills on Understanding Newer Project environment and Coding standards
• Very good knowledge on HTML, XHTML, XML, Javascript, JQuery Framework, bootstrap, Ajax and CSS 2/3.
• Can do attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and ability to provide cutting edge solutions

Software Engineer – Java
Skills and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years industry experience as a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer.
• Experience in enterprise scale application development and the ability to understand and apply design patterns based on this experience.
• experience working with Java/J2EE technologies
• Experience in 00D/UML, Spring, Hibernate, WeblogicaBoss, Tomcat JUnit, Oracle and working experience on Limn /Mac environment are a strong plus

• Proficient in PHP related frameworks (Codeignitor,Symfony, Laravel) and MySQL databases and database queries.
• Proven skills on Understanding Newer Project environment and Coding standards
• Very good knowledge on HTML, XHTML, XML, Javascript, JQuery Framework bootstrap,Ajax and CSS 2/3.
• Familiar with Git / Bitbucket
• Experience in working with open source CMS systems and prior experience in customizing Joomla/Drupal/Wordpress and Magento/OSCommerce applications is an added advantage.
• Exposure to working with overseas clients is an advantage
• Possess good problem solving skills and excellent communication skills
