Senior Manager (Credit and Recoveries) (Colombo)

Responsibilities:
• Develop & lead a Credit risk management framework inherent to each loan product in lee with the Fintech’s principles and Central Bank guidelines
• Develop automated credit assessment tool in fine with the credit limits, risk appetite and the credit risk management framework.
• Execution of the credit evaluations by reviewing and analyzing the credit proposals by providing guidance for the accurate review of applications and the implementation of appropriate remedial measures.
▪ Update Orl the changes in the regulations and standards set by Central Bank and propose change in the credit review process where applicable
• Monitor the credit portfolio in order to identify any credit risk and propose mitigation initiatives.
• Achieve assigned recovery targets to contribute organization’s financial performance.
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines governing collection activity to enhance recovery efforts of the company.
• Provide consistent and effective reports which communicate current credit loss
• conditions, forecasts and financial plans.
• Conduct necessary impact analysis for potential downturns and growth opportunities.
Requirements:
• Should have a Degree in Business Management, and MBA would be an added advantage
• Professional certification in Credit Risk Management by a recognized institute 10-12 years’ overall experience and 6-8 years’ experience in Credit and Recoveries in a Banking or Financial Services Organization
• Strong Communication Skills and Excellent Negotiation Skills
• Experience in managing a team of recovery professionals
• Demonstrated experience in Risk Analytics
• Excellent knowledge of the CBSL financial regulatory framework
• Salary negotiable
