About the Company
Aussee Oats Milling Pvt Ltd is a joint venture multinational company. The company is in the process of manufacturing cereal based products from oats, wheat, rice, barley and other grains for the South East Asian markets. The state of the art plant is located at BOI zone in Mirigama, Sri Lanka. Our manufacturing plant is the first Oats processing facility in South East Asia and will be under the scope of BRC, FSSC and other International standards.
Job: Senior Laboratory Chemist / Lab Assistant Manager
• Establish and implement laboratory procedures and standards.
• Establish and implement ISO 17025 laboratory standards.
• Conduct internal training.
• Conduct nutrient analysis of protein, carbohydrate, fibre etc.
• Mange and conduct internal and external calibrations
• Maintain hygiene and Good Laboratory Practice.
• Document and maintain test data. Prepare trend analysis.
Candidate Profile:
• Qualification: MSc or BSc degree in food science / biochemistry or similar subject.
• Experience: Minimum three years of working in a standard laboratory
• Preference would be given to those with ISO 17025 Lab experience.
• Experience in working at mills and similar industries.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Preference would be given to those who reside close to Gampaha area.
Job: QA Chemist x 3
• Work in the laboratory in biochemistry, nutrient and other tests
• Conduct internal and external calibrations
• Conduct training and verify factory PRPs and Pest Control.
• Conduct internal audits in HACCP, GMP and BRC standards.
• Contribute technical expertise in new product development in R&D
Candidate Profile:
• Qualification: BSc or diploma in food / biochemistry or similar subject.
• Experience: Minimum one year of working in food industry or laboratory
• Preference would be given for those with ISO 17025, FSSC 22000, BRC exposure.
• Experience in working at food laboratory, mills and similar industries.
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work in night shifts
• Preference would be given to those who reside close to Gampaha area.
The candidate will be expected to relocate near the factory.
