Senior Executive – Import/Export (Sri Lanka)

We are looking for dynamic self-motivated team player for the position of “Senior Executive- Import/Export” in the Project Management and Import/Export Department.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Leading Import / Export Department
– Handling Import clearance and Exports of the company
– Budgeting of import tax
– Payment checking & Authorizing of clearing agents & freight forwarders invoices
– Obtaining Import differed VAT extension from IRD
– LC Operation
~ Annual BOI value addition calculations
— Annual preparation of Authorize signatures, Corporate guarantee of VAT Different for BO! / Customs
– Annual preparation of memorandum of understanding (MOU) doc for clearing agents.
– Import/Export control block license and import debiting
– Annual TRC Vendor license and shipment wise approval from TRC
– Obtaining import approval for Machines and Assets from BOI
– Handling E-Waste /Packing waste / Machine Disposal
Applicants must possess:
– Experience of working in a BOI company
– Knowledge of working with BOI, Customs and IRD.
– Fluency in English
– Very good inter personnel relationship, analytical skills & communication skills.
– A good knowledge on MS office Package (Specially Excel, word & power point)
– Should have the ability to achieve given targets within defined deadline.
– Experience in SAP will be added advantage.
Educational Qualifications:
– BSc in Logistic Management / Shipping
– HND in Logistic Management / Shipping or a professional qualification in Logistic Management / Shipping
