Resident Manager
Hotel Okrin is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified person to the role of Resident Manager.
To be considered for this role you will be required to fulfil all of the regular duties of a Hotel Manager.
As well as meet the challenges below:
• Creates an operating environment that assures consistent guest satisfaction
• Develops accurate and aggressive long and short-range financial and marketing objectives consistent with the company’s mission.
• Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints and initiates corrective action.
• Takes the lead in the business community
• Recognise opportunities for regional competitiveness
• Maintains an appropriate level of community public affairs involvement.
The successful candidate will possess sound business and operational skills acquired from previous experience in hotel management roles and you will be familiar with general hotel management practices including.
• Customer Service
• Financial management and reporting
• Marketing and promotions
• Food and beverage
• Front Office
• Hotel Housekeeping
• Human Resources
• Reporting to and working with a Board of Directors.
• Membership
There is an expectation that the Resident Manager will be customer-facing and take a hands-on role when required.
The position itself offers diverse opportunities in planning and management. as well as other unique aspects specific to this hotel and the region.
The hotel is currently undertaking extensive work. including ISO 22000 and extensions to the new block of rooms. To this effect. experience with development and planning is ideal.

With minimum five years’ experience in four star standard establishments.
