Dynawash Limited is a well established washing & Dyeing plant situated in Biyagama Export Processing Zone, which caters to major Apparel manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka. Due to expansion & growth, company is looking for a dynamic & energetic individual for the below position.
“Quality Assurance Manager”
Key Responsibility would be to ensure the System, Process and the required Human Resources are developed to ensure “RIGHT FIRST TIME” of all products coming out after garment washing/dyeing process
* Developing the System and Processes in order to meet customer quality expectations while minimize Cost of Quality to the company
* Design and Implement statistical quality management techniques, system applications, and product testing and inspection protocols to create a Culture of “QUALITY ASSURANCE” across the organization.
* Carry out the “Risk Analysis” process with the Product Development Team and the Operation team to ensure the customer expectations with regard to final product quality after garment Washing and Dyeing are set at the Product Development/Negotiation stage
* Setting customer service standards
* Training and development of the QA team
The selected candidate should meet the following criteria:
* A degree in textile/clothing or equivalent
* 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in an Apparel Manufacturing Organization. Working experience in a washing plant will be an added advantage
* Knowledge of Garment Washing and Dyeing Processes
* Experience in working with Leading International Brands such as Gap, M&S, Levies and Victoria’s Secret
* Strong inter-personal and PR skills.
Fluency in English language and computer literacy.
