Centrepoint Homes (Pvt) Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of the Fairway Group currently engaged in supplying imported kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and engineered timber doors to the retail and project markets in Sri Lanka. We have set up a UPVC fabrication plant and in the process of expanding our Retail Network within Sri Lanka. We are looking for exceptional candidates to fill in the following vacancies related to a government project.
Project Manager (Fixed Term Contract)
Responsibilities:
✓ Scheduling the installation in line with the main contractor’s Master Schedule
✓ Deploying manpower needed to site and liaising with sub contractors in order to meet delivery deadlines
✓ Supervising the installation, quality inspections & rectifications
✓ Quantifying work done for progress claims (Invoicing)
✓ Managing the material stock at site
✓ Liaising with the main contractor/sub contractors for site issues and challenges
Requirements:
✓ A Bachelors Degree in Project Management/ Civil Engineering together with a minimum of five years experience in a similar position in the construction industry
✓ Previous experience in handling government projects and tenders
✓ Ability to work independently and meet project time lines
✓ Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Supervisors (Fixed Term Contract)
✓ Supervise installations and maintain required quality standards
✓ Previous supervisory experience in interior installations such as doors and windows
✓ Ability to manage people effectively and meet daily/weekly and monthly installation targets
✓ Good knowledge in door/window specifications
✓ Ability work extended hours to meet project time lines
