Experience:

– Minimum 8 years of industry experience with 4-6 years in project management covering the full software
development lifecycle.
– Possess client facing experience.

Qualifications:

– A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
– PMP certification and an MBA will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage day-to-day operations of project(s) and scope.
– Planning and implementation of projects.
– Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
– Define project tasks and resource requirements.
– Develop full scale project plans.
– Assemble and coordinate with the project team.
– Manage the project budget.
– Manage project resource allocations together with the Resource Management Team.
– Plan and schedule project timelines.
– Track project deliverables using the appropriate tools.
– Provide direction and support to the project team.
– Manage the Quality Assurance Team.
– Constantly monitor and report the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
– Present reports defining the project progress, problems and solutions.
– Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
– Project evaluations and the assessment of results.
– Manage project revenue and P&L together technical and financial reporting.
– Identify opportunities, and lead proposal efforts.
– Deliver high quality software solutions using a predictable delivery process.
– Set clear expectations for the project with focus on achieving results efficiently. [5]
– Continually seek to increase customer satisfaction and expand client relations.
– Build a knowledge base of the clients’ business, and their objectives.

Technical/Soft Skills:

– Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
– Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
– Direct work experience in a project management capacity.
– Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management.
– Proficiency with project management software.
– Strong leadership skills.
– Excellent planning, organizing, communication and interpersonal skills.
– Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
– Excellent delegation, negotiation and influencing skills.
– Ability to adapt to changing environments.
– Ability to maintain an effective performance while under pressure.
