Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities:
■ A working knowledge of accounting software package Quick Book
■ Assist the management providing required finance details.
■ Ability to meet deadline and work under pressure.
■ Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
■ Preparing financial statements
■ Applying relevant Sri Lanka Accounting Standards, Companies Act, and other requirements to financial statements
■ Analyzing and interpreting financial statements.
■ Preparing and reviewing budgets, comparison against performance, profit and cash flow forecasts.
■ Preparation of returns and administration of PAYE/NBT/ VAT and other duties.
■ Using accounting packages/ presentation packages.
■ Drafting audit and similar reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
■ Degree in finance and/or possess qualification in Chartered/CIMA/ACCA
■ Knowledge and hands on experience in the use of MS office applications & Quick Books.
■ 4-5 years’ experience in accounts executive capacity for Assistant Accountant and 2 years’ experience in similar capacity for Accountant.
