Vacancy – Application Support Engineer
Our client is one of the largest global Information Technology (IT) services companies in the country who provides IT consultancy, technology and outsourcing services globally.
Competency-fit
As the Application Support Engineer, you are expected to be versatile, dependable, dedicated and capable of working under pressure.
The ideal candidate should be with 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in WebLogic, UNIX administration and application support.
Job Responsibilities
Having selected, you are responsible of Application server administration and troubleshooting (e.g. WebLogic).
Eligibility
To be successful you will need to possess:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in ICT.
– 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in WebLogic, UNIX administration.
– Strong communication skills.
Technical Skills:
– Unix admin on Solaris or Linux.
– Oracle database – SQL, PL/SQL, administration and troubleshooting.
– Shell and Perl Scripting.
– Web server administration and troubleshooting (e.g. Sun Java Web Server, Apache HTTPD).
