Designation: Senior Application Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
– Provide 2nd and 3rd level application support service for European clients.
– Proactively look for issues in applications that are being supported.
– Troubleshooting the system to identify issues and root causes.
– Configuration and release management.
– Analysing call logs to spot trends and underlying issues
– Documenting any new issue experienced with solutions and workarounds.
– Undertake basic system administrative tasks.
– Ability to work around the clock in a roster setup.
– Manage escalations within the scope of SLAS.
Requirements:
– Excellent problem-solving and strategic—planning skills
– At least two years experience in L2 or L3 application support / Development
– Prior experience in JAVA development will be an added advantage.
– Understanding of an ECM platform such as Alfresco will be a strong advantage.
– A bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
– Prior experience in support role will be an added advantage.
– Excellent communication skills oral and written
– Organized, self-disciplined and professional in demeanor
– Driven and self motivated
