Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager (Asia Foundation Project)
– Support the coordination and management of the project
– Support the coordination of audits and evaluations of the project
– Provide timely reports to the donor organization
– Support and oversee the Project Community Outreach Coordinator
– Build rapport with required stakeholders
– Make community visits and implement the planned activities along with the Project
Community Outreach Coordinator
– Monitor and evaluate project with the support of CEO and donor organization
– Adhere to the project proposal and derive timely project activity plan
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing or coordinating projects
– Undergraduate degree in Social Work or related field
– Working knowledge in English language and fluent in at least one national language (Sinhala/Tamil) – *Being trilingual is an advantage
– Past experience in project planning and implementation
– Knowledge and experience working in areas of activism and advocacy for children and youth, mental health, gender-based violence, LGBTQIA community, people with disabilities, people living with HIV would be advantageous
– Experience in monitoring, evaluation and managing project cycles
– Skilled in IT (MS word, excel, Google doc, sheet, forms ) and experience in remote-based work
