Eskimo is in operation in Sn‘ Lanka for more than two decades having its head office and the main factory in Negombo and sub factories at Pallekele and Punanai with an
employee strength of more than 2200. Our strength reflects in our rapid growth, globalization of trade and acceptance of us by our foreign customers as a high quality knitwear producer.
Realising potential for development we are awaiting for the ideal candidate for the post of “Merchandiser”. The selected candidate should be willing to travel overseas as a key requirement.
Merchandiser
The prospective candidate will be responsible to ensure on time delivery on development of accessories and product trades as per customer expectations. The position will be further extended to follow up sample/production and arrange necessary shipments by liaising with internal and external stake holders.
Skills / Competencies:
– Be a strong negotiator
– An outstanding team player
– Be computer literate
– Business communication to be able to write technical/production reports
– Sound knowledge on marketing, costing and monitoring action plans
– Strong analytical skills
– Problem solving and decision making skills
Qualifications:
– G.C.E. (Advance Level)
– Diploma in merchandising from a recognized institution
Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years in a merchandising department with an exposure of handling accounts
– Prominence will be given for those who have a thorough knowledge on yarn
