Assistant Manager – Legal
Siyapatha Finance PLC has a vacancy for the Post of Assistant Manager – Legal in the Legal and Recovery Department located at its Head Office.
Job Profile:
The job holder would report to the Manager Legal and shall be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Legal department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist and support Manager – Legal in day-to-day commercial and contractual issues.
• Advice on the contract terms, contractual rights and obligations of the Lender.
• Draft and attest legal documents, contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
• Appear in Magistrate/ District/ High Courts for company matters in Colombo and provinces.
• Visit branches when necessary.
Experience and Qualifications:-
• Attorney at law with minimum five years of post-qualification legal experience preferably in a Bank or Financial Institution.
• High degree of communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to view legal matters from a business perspective.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
• Age between 30 – 45 years.
Remuneration:
The remuneration package is negotiable and would be in line with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
